• Bead Embroidery •

I began creating bead embroidery brooches in 2017 as a form of mental escape while writing my master’s thesis. In the midst of long, demanding days, the slow and repetitive nature of the process offered a sense of calm and clarity. I was particularly drawn to the intricate forms of insects—beetles, moths, flies, birds—capturing their delicate structures through beads and thread, and turning them into small, wearable objects that balanced precision with a quiet sense of wonder.

Bead embroidery became my way of slowing down and reconnecting with the beauty of making by hand.

What began as a quiet curiosity grew into a practice of patience, precision, and deep focus—where each bead is placed with intention, and every piece carries a sense of time and care. Through this process, I found not only a technique, but a form of expression that allows me to translate delicate ideas into tangible, textured forms. It remains a constant in my work—a space where craftsmanship and storytelling meet.

As I began focusing on designing patterns for children’s brands, I naturally adapted my bead embroidery to reflect this direction. My work now combines playful, imaginative elements with delicate craftsmanship, resulting in unique, handmade pieces. Alongside creating products, I am deeply passionate about making embroidery and handcraft more accessible to a wider audience, which is why I also organize creative workshops where people can explore and connect with these techniques in an inspiring and approachable way.
